Antique Spanish terracotta jug in warm yellow glazed pottery, dating to the 19th century and from the northern Spanish region of Castile and León. This wheel-thrown earthenware pitcher features a rounded body, upright neck, hand-pinched pouring spout, circular foot and applied loop handle. Its mottled mustard and honey glaze allows areas of the red terracotta body to remain visible through generations of wear.

The jug reflects the practical craftsmanship of Castilian folk pottery, where locally produced earthenware vessels were made for everyday household use. Visible turning rings, an irregular rim, variations in glaze thickness and the individually shaped spout retain the direct character of handmade Spanish pottery.
