This large antique French confit pot dating Circa Late 19th Century the features a vibrant green glaze over its upper half, paired with an unglazed terracotta base. Two side handles offer symmetry and function, while the pot’s rounded profile and deep rim evoke the rustic charm of traditional French farmhouse storage jars.
Traditionally used in Southwest France and Provence, its green glaze is less commonly found than the traditional yellow ochre and was often reserved for special batches or regional styles.
