This gold-tone chain necklace from the Aurelia Collection by ROC Objects features five hammered coin discs, suspended from a fine link alloy chain with a secure spring-ring clasp. It embodies the Aurelia Collection’s focus on artisanal detail and minimalist Mediterranean jewelry design.
Designed by Irish artist Laragh Stuart, the Aurelia Collection draws inspiration from hammered coin adornments found across the Mediterranean. The shimmering textured discs balance traditional metalworking with contemporary jewelry design. Laragh, born in Wicklow, is the daughter of sculptor Ian Stuart, granddaughter of writer Francis Stuart, and great-granddaughter of Maud Gonne, muse to W.B. Yeats.
This necklace can be worn as a standalone statement or layered with other chains for versatile styling. Its refined form suits minimalist wardrobes, resort and summer fashion, and Mediterranean-inspired jewelry collections.
